The IRS technology upgrade has been rescheduled for Friday, September 8, 2017 through Monday, September 11, 2017. The outage will begin Friday at 7:00 p.m. PST and end Monday at 3:00 a.m. PST.
During the outage, the IRS will not process transcript requests however, due to the upgrade being rescheduled for a weekend, transcript delays are no longer expected.
Brokers should continue to order transcripts during the IRS system outage; requirements for transcripts will not be waived during the outage period. In the event a loan is scheduled to fund and the transcripts have not been received, HomeBridge will consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
