HUD issued Mortgagee Letter 2020-49 December 22, 2020 which announced HUD was revising the current form 92900-A/26-1802a, HUD/VA Addendum to Uniform Residential Loan Application. The new 92900-A improves the ability for lenders and borrowers to comply with the certifications required by HUD.
HUDs new version of form 92900-A is dated 2/2021 and is specific to FHA transactions.
FHA will require the use of the new version of the 92900-A on case numbers assigned on or after March 22, 2021. Case numbers assigned prior to March 22, 2021 may use either the current or new version of the 92900-A.
